I started downloading the AJAX videos byJoe Stagner (http://www.asp.net/learn/videos/default.aspx?tabid=63). I recognised he used some abbreviations such as:
HDI01-AJAX-B1-GetStarted.zip
HDI03-AJAX-B2-CascadingDropDown.zip
HDI06-V-AtlasCustomExtender.zip
HDI09-ACT-B2-TextWatermarkExt.zip
I guess HDI = How Do I, B1/B2 = beta 1/2. But some downloads had a V or ACT code in it. What does V or ACT mean?
ACT = AJAX Control Toolkitdhruba.bandopadhyay:
What does V or ACT mean?
V = Video
When Joe updated all of the videos for the Release Candidate, he made sure that the video was available for download as a .zip file, and that the code was available for download as a .zip file. Since both downloads had the .zip extension, the video download includes V in the filename, and the code downloads include C#, VB, or DEMO in the filename.
